Kamloops Blazers: Team Insights

• Kamloops finished with a 55.1% point percentage and a +14 goal differential, featuring an above-average offense but a defense that allowed slightly more goals than the league average.

• JP Hurlbert led the attack with 97 points, while Nathan Behm (86), Tommy Lafreniere (77), and Josh Evaschesen (73) gave the Blazers one of the deeper forward groups in the WHL.

• Several key contributors posted strong positive plus-minus ratings, with Hurlbert, Behm, and Evaschesen combining high-end production with effective two-way play.

• Logan Edmonstone carried the entire workload in goal, posting a save percentage just above 90% and providing stability despite facing more than 1,500 shots.

• Special teams were inconsistent, as a strong 26.9% power play helped offset a below-average 75.1% penalty kill that limited the club’s overall ceiling.
